Every house starts with a basic skeleton of joists, studs, rafters, and sheathing, and for over 90 years, we have been supplying these products to contractors and homeowners. Today, we carry an extensive inventory of conventional framing lumber as well as engineered wood products; and with a wide selection of in-stock products, we are able to provide next day delivery. If the decision of which product to use is not straight forward, we have knowledgeable salesmen and a licensed structural engineering department available to resolve problems and suggest sound, structural solutions.

Conventional Framing Lumber
We maintain a large inventory of SPF framing lumber including pre-cut studs; 2×4, 2×6, and 2×8 up to 20′; and 2×10 and 2×12 in lengths up to 24′. Longer lengths up to 30′ are available with a short lead time.
Machine Stress Rated Lumber
Machine Stress Rated Lumber (MSR) is specially graded SPF or southern pine lumber that has been mechanically evaluated by a machine to determine it’s strength characteristics. Some grades of MSR lumber are nearly as strong as LVL, but at a fraction of the cost. We stock a variety of grades of MSR lumber for use in our truss plant, but we also offer it for sale in our yard. Engineered Wood Products
We stock long lengths of 9-1/2″, 11-7/8″, 14″, and 16″ LVLs as well as 3.5″x3.5″, 3.5″x5.5″, and 5.5″x5.5″ glulam posts. Larger sizes of LVL, Parallam PSL, and glulam beams in industrial, architectural, and preservative treated varieties are available from our local distributors with a quick turnaround. Our engineering staff can help size or substitute a proper beam for your project.
Framing Connectors & Fasteners
Beyond the strength of the framing members, the most important part of the structure is the connectors that hold it together. We stock a comprehensive inventory of Simpson Strong-Tie hangers and connectors for both interior and exterior projects and we have an expert sales staff ready to help determine the correct product for your application. We also have a large selection of in-stock Fastenmaster Lok-line fasteners, including LedgerLok, TimberLok, HeadLok, and FlatLok screws.
Pressure Treated Framing
If your project will be exposed to the elements, we stock a wide range of pressure treated southern yellow pine lumber. Framing material with higher treatment levels for docks or more severe exposure applications is available by special order.
Subfloor
Subfloor is the first layer of any floor system directly over the floor joists. We stock commodity grade OSB, pine and fir plywood, and Huber Advantech. We recommend using Loctite polyurethane construction adhesive with all types of subfloor.
Underlayment
If your floor finish demands a stable, uniform base layer for support, we offer pine and fir underlayment, and 1/2″ Durarock and 1/4″ Hardi-Backer cement boards for tile applications.
Sheathing
We keep a wide variety of sheathing products in stock. Our inventory includes conventional wall and roof sheathing in OSB, pine, fir, as well as specialty sheathing products with an adhered weather barrier like Huber Zip System, and OxBoard’s structurally insulated sheathing (SIS) that incorporates both a weather barrier and a layer of rigid insulation.
Fire Retardant Treated Wood
Commercial and multi-family residential projects often require fire retardant treated framing. We stock 2×4 and 2×6 framing and 1/2″ and 3/4″ CDX plywood in Pyro-Guard, by Hoover, for interior use. Exterior-X treatment for exterior applications is available by special order.
